Happy Mindful Monday everyone! I won't vlog today, but what I will do is still deliver super awesome Mindful Monday content! Here we go...I've recently been directed to focussing on the "why" of things that will inevitably change my life which has lead me to question my own decision-making skills. That's what today's post is all about: being mindful of the "why".
What is the why?
The why is the reason you do or do not do something. The why is what should flood your mind when making an important conscious decision. Why would you move to this city or that? Why do you want to become an actor? Why would you attend this seminar? Why are you reading this?
When the "why" is aligned with your values and beliefs, then you know it's right. #sheerspirit
Are you in it for the right reasons?
Behind every choice you make there is a reason. You want to make sure your reasoning is strictly based on your morals and beliefs, no one else's.
Does your why let people know who you are and what you stand for? Are you basing your decisions on right-minded reasoning, (loving intentions)? And most importantly is this choice going to somehow uplift, inspire, or empower you causing you to uplift, inspire, and empower others?
Is the why enough?
Once you've understood your why, then you can make a final choice by knowing your why is or is not enough to get you to move your feet. The why is, (or at least should be), enough to let you know if what you're doing is right for you or not.
Take a look at where you are right now and how you got there. Was your why aligned with what you thought you wanted at the time? Odds are your desires have changed now which is why you find yourself here, seeking guidance to live your best life. Understand your why and your best life shall take flight.
No matter what, keep smiling and be the person YOU would want to meet,
Brittany :)

Good stuff as usual Brittany! The why, not the what. Hmmm... thanks! :)
