Synchronicity

Though it is relatively difficult to pronounce, synchronicity is one of the most interesting and beneficial concepts to incorporate into your life. A "realist" may call it a "coincidence", but synchronicity goes way beyond just a random happenstance. Synchronicity is formed by your thoughts and manifested through your fate. Being at "the right place at the right time" is synchronicity. The Uni-verse responds to your thoughts and beliefs you project onto the world by providing you with the opportunity for synchronicity to enter your life. Similar to a domino effect, once you witness the start of it, synchronicity will keep falling your way.

The best way I can think to describe synchronicity is to compare it to when you're having a great day, and I mean great. You wake up feeling great, so you decide to run some errands, and in the midst of the parking lot chaos, you nail a front row parking spot, which puts you in an even better mood. Had you left the house just a few minutes, even seconds, later you may not have landed that awesome spot. So, you walk in to the store, still feeling great, and you see that your favorite products are on a one-day sale. How awesome is that? Again, had you decided to run errands a day before or day after, you would not have gotten this break. If this sounds familiar to you, it's because it is, synchronicity is similar to The Law of Attraction which I've discussed in previous posts.

Now, just as we can experience synchronicity working positively in our lives, we can also perceive some of it to work negatively. The key word there is perceive. Synchronicity can only be negative if you perceive it to be. For example, I got in my first really bad car accident almost a year ago. The accident could not have happened at a more inconvenient time, my mom had to catch a plane to California in 2 hours and I had to be at work in 20 minutes. Here I was with a sobbing teenage girl in my one ear and a panicked mother in the other. Not knowing it at the time but my car was actually totaled. Now, normally I would have been in tears, freaking out just like anyone else, but for some reason I was completely calm.

Synchronicity allows you to think and feel in the moment, exactly for what it is, an event. Synchronicity allows you to surpass the waves of emotion that could potentially crash into you when a traumatic event occurs. When you are synchronized with the Uni-verse, you are not thinking of the past, or of the future, you are thinking in the now. So...my biggest concern after the accident happened was my mom missing her flight, then was this poor girl in hysterics next to me. Not once did I think of myself, (shocking I know), or how damaged my car was, which actually turned out to be a blessing. It was almost like I subconsciously knew that everything was going to be ok, because let's face it, it always is. Needless to say, not only were things ok, they were fantastic! I was able to get a brand spankin' new car! This, my friends, is synchronicity in its purest form. That car is my baby, the apple of my eye, and I greet it with gratitude every day.

I currently experience synchronicity almost on a daily basis, and so can you! By awakening yourself to be in the moment and recognizing that with every obstacle comes opportunity not far behind, you will be on your way to experience the same synchronic miracles that millions of others do.

Every obstacle meets opportunity~
